I called so many lawyers but none would take the time out of there day to just give me a little advice. But darth did he actually took his time with me and gave me advice for no charge. He seems to care and that is priceless. Thanks!!!Gary Borrow2022-09-23I reached out to Darth for help when my former employer threatened litigation. Darth took his time with me and went over not only my questions but what his plan of action would be in response. Once we realized it wouldn’t be a good fit due to lack of resources on my end. Darth gave me advice, reassured me it was an attempt to scare/bully me into doing what my former employer wanted. And then he gave me resources to find Council that could help me. He even followed up with a direct link to those sources! I offered to pay for his time ( the consultation was about 40 minutes long) and he refused! I hung up the phone with a plan, free advice and less anxious about the situation as a whole. I would highly recommend!Bryan Kantorczyk2022-07-18Darth was fantastic to work with on my case. He always kept me informed all along the way and took his time to truly listen to me and my questions and concerns!

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the most common questions we hear. For additional questions, contact us to discuss your unique situation.
Yes, False Claims Act cases are one of the very few areas of law for which every plaintiff must have a lawyer in order to proceed. It is very important to choose a lawyer with experience handling these complicated and procedurally complex cases and working collaboratively with state and federal investigative and enforcement authorities.
While arbitration often presents a less formal setting than court, having a business litigation lawyer can significantly enhance your ability to effectively present your case. For example, while the rules of evidence in arbitration are more relaxed than in a courtroom, there are still rules and procedures for introducing evidence to support your claim. As your lawyer, we will prepare your case, represent you during the arbitration proceedings, and protect your legal rights throughout the process. This support is particularly valuable in disputes involving substantial legal or financial concerns.
Yes. The False Claims Act provides that whistleblowers are entitled to a share of the government’s recovery in qui tam cases. This share is set by the court and (except in rare cases) ranges from 15% to 25% when the government intervenes, and from 25% to 30% if the government declines to intervene.
The False Claims Act (FCA) enables private citizens to take action against all manner of fraud (not including tax fraud) involving any federal monies. Common schemes include Medicare and Medicaid billing fraud, government procurement fraud, customs fraud, PPP loan fraud, as well as grant, loan and cyber security fraud. Telling lies to receive federal money is generally actionable. A majority of states have similar laws which permit citizens to bring cases to recover state money as well.
Yes, in many cases, even if a contract is partially performed, you may still have grounds for a breach of contract claim. The nature of the breach(es) will determine the amount of any possible recovery so it is important to have your case evaluated by an experienced complex commercial litigator before committing to an expensive and lengthy litigation process.
